Hey there, just a quick update to say that I am migrating a lot of pieces of this website to a separate Black Gum Print Shop website that will handle all of my printmaking and illustration/business stuff. You may notice that my online shop has disappeared over the last couple of days. Fear not! It will reappear shortly (a week?) with a brand new url and interface and look. Thanks for your patience.

I’m also going to take this opportunity to remind you that I have a Patreon, and for only $5 a month, you can get prints in the mail every month.

Hey y’all, haven’t blogged in a while, so I figure it’s time to give an update on some recent illustration and printmaking work I’ve done.

March’s Patreon packages went out, and I had fun putting the packages together. March’s print of the month, which went out to all subscribers at every tier, was this risograph print of a Mao quote, illustrated by me (these are also now available in the shop) [Click to read more]

After much hemming and hawing, I finally bit the bullet and started a Patreon for my printmaking/art. I recently got my own private studio space, and I’m so stoked about what this will mean for my artmaking practice going forward. I also know that, as a result of this investment in my printmaking, I have to kinda bust a little ass to make my work sustainable going forward. This is part of that.
